The Scandi Tray is inspired by Scandinavian decoration trays, where the shape is minimalist in form leaving the space to highlight a specific object or decoration piece. The name is a reference to the classic Scandinavian design. It is cast in solid concrete to add a certain heaviness, while also creating a unique and refined texture. Scandi can be used for various decorative purposes or stand alone as a statement piece in itself. It is a hand colored to achieve a unique surface texture and it is not waterproof safe.

Emphasizing sculptural shapes, the texture of concrete creates a fine balance between sharp architectural lines and soft organic curves. Cast in concrete, each product gets a unique surface with small incorrections and nuances. The surface is afterwards coated, to create a strong and resistance product. Finally, the product is hand painted two times, to create a smooth color finish or left naturally raw in grey color.
It is advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product. The product cannot stand in extreme high temperature and sunlight for several months. High humidity levels can also cause the product to absorb moisture, causing it to become soft and fragile. When exposed to extreme heat or cold, the product may expand or contract excessively, causing it to break or become damaged.
If the product is used outdoor, we strongly advise in the winter season to use a waterproof cover to cover the it or take the product into indoor storage.
Maintenance:
For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product.
