Sustainability

Designed to Last. Made with Care.

At Fibala Living, sustainability is not a trend — it is a natural result of how and why we create.

We design products meant to be used every day, for years. By focusing on durability, timeless aesthetics, and responsible materials, we aim to reduce the need for disposable and short-lived alternatives.

Materials with Intention

We work primarily with natural, plant-based, and low-impact materials, chosen for both performance and environmental responsibility:

  • Washable paper made from FSC®-certified cellulose fibre
    (OEKO-TEX® certified, vegan, plastic-free)

  • Natural textiles such as linen, cotton, and wool

  • Solid wood, carefully selected and finished for long-term use

These materials are chosen not only for their appearance, but for how they age, how they perform, and how they minimize environmental impact over time.

Small-Batch, Handmade Production

Every Fibala Living product is handmade in small batches in our family studio in Poland.

This allows us to:

  • Reduce overproduction and waste

  • Maintain consistent quality

  • Adjust and improve designs thoughtfully

  • Use materials efficiently, often repurposing offcuts and leftovers

Nothing is rushed. Each piece is made, inspected, and finished by hand.

Thoughtful Design Choices

Sustainability also means making practical design decisions:

  • Many of our products ship flat, reducing packaging volume and emissions

  • Flexible designs adapt to changing needs instead of being replaced

  • Some products ship unfilled, allowing customers to use local materials and lowering transport weight

We believe good design should simplify life — not add excess.

A Conscious Alternative

Our goal is not perfection, but progress.

By choosing natural materials, small-scale production, and durable design, we offer a conscious alternative to plastic, mass-produced home goods — creating pieces that support calmer spaces and more intentional living.

Designed with care.
